Boston $2 Single Notes

The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) announced on Wednesday the sale of 2008 $2 Boston notes. These series of banknotes are extremely popular with collectors with all previous 2008 singles sold out within hours of their launch.

A limit of 25 units per household are always in affect, which means the notes could potentially sell out with just 400 total orders, making ordering speed all the more important.

The Boston collector’s $2 single note features:

Crisp, uncirculated Series 2003A
Serial number beginning with "2008xxxxD"
Designation from the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston
In addition, each note is:

Limited in quantity to 10,000
Protected by a clear, acid-free polymer sleeve
Housed within a 2008 commemorative folder
The price for one Boston note is $7.95. Orders may be placed by following the instructions on the BEP page:

The BEP warns against orders above 25, with the following statement:

Any customer who places an order above the quantity restriction (25 units) for this product is subject to having their entire order rejected.
